Users with the Mass Update and Manage Users and Permissions administrative permissions can update multiple users at once.
| Important: A mass update cannot be undone. |
To mass update users:
- Select Users > Manage Users. The Manage Users page appears.
- Do one of the following:
- In the row of each user you want to update, select the checkbox.
- To select all users on a page or all across all pages, click
at the top of the Select all column.
Note: After you select records, a banner at the top of the page shows the number of users selected. To remove the selection, click Clear in the banner.
- Select Actions > Mass Update. The page shows only the fields available to update.
- Next to each field you want to update, select the checkbox, and then update the field.
Notes:
- For Default Space, the available spaces are filtered based on the selected Default Building.
- If you select Roles - Add, the selected roles are added to the users’ existing roles.
- If you select Roles - Remove, the selected roles are removed from the users.
- To clear a field, such as grade level, select the checkbox but leave the field blank.
- Click Next. The Confirm Mass Update page appears.
- Click Go!. A confirmation pop-up appears.
- Click OK.
The Mass Update status changes to Success when it is complete.
The status shows how many updates were successful and how many could not be applied.
Click Download Log to view the records that were updated and those that were skipped, along with the reason.
All changes are recorded in each user’s activity history.
The Manage Users page also has additional options that let you customize your view.
