Enhanced Reporting Dashboards
ML has revamped its dashboards inside ML Work Orders. Previously, we used a third-party tool to generate these, but it caused difficulties with data updates and troubleshooting, so we built our own. Please click HERE to learn more.
Ability to Add Charges in ML Work Orders
When an Asset/Device is damaged, you can now log a charge on a request, as well as directly from our user detail page. Along with this feature, we created a new permission section for charges in the edit role page, "Manage Charges" and "View Charges" are the two permissions. Users will have the ability to create charge types, set a charge amount, and include any waived amounts.

Left Side Menu Dashboard page has Filtering Capabilities
The Left Side Menu Dashboard now can filter requests based on request type and by building. This way, you can update the dashboard view so you can narrow down your focus to the important requests! Please click HERE to learn more
You can now make Procedure Steps Required for your Requests (Work Orders)
Admins can now indicate if a procedure should be required on a request (work order) before completing the request. This can be done on the Edit Procedure Page in ML Work Orders.
If a procedure is required on a request (work order):
- When opening a request that has incomplete required procedures, it will open on the Procedures tab instead of the Details tab.
- The Procedures tab will be highlighted in red.
- On the Procedures Tab "Required*" text will display next to the "Begin Steps" button as well.

You can now Check-Out and Check-In Assets via Serial Number
Checking out and in has become easier for Facilities and Technology Assets! If you have an unreadable barcode on an asset, you now have the option to search for the asset via name and serial number, as opposed to name and Barcode only. This update applies to both the Asset -> Check-Out Assets page and the Assets -> Check-In Assets page.

Mass Updating Requests now includes Request Categories
The rollout of our new Walkthrough Mode for request submission last fall included the creation of request categories within ML Work Orders. Users can now use our Mass Update feature to update Request Categories on Requests. Please click HERE to learn more.
History Log Tracking Enhancements
To help empower admins to give them more data to troubleshoot issues, we have created a history tracking log for the following areas of the product that tracks what updates were made, who made the update, and when.
- Roles
- All changes are tracked for a given Role.
