MasterLibrary now integrates with ClassLink. You can launch our software directly from ClassLink. Below are step-by-step instructions on how to configure this.
Setting Up the Integration
1. Go to the Classlink SAML Console.
2. Copy Existing Template
3. Copy IDP Metadata URL
4. In Work Orders, select Settings > Single Sign On > SAML Configuration. The SAML Integration Admin page appears.
5. Next to ClassLink, click. A pop-up appears.
6. Do the following:
- Under Entity ID, enter your ClassLink identifier.
- Under Issuer, enter the IdP Metadata URL from ClassLink.
- Enter the Login Link, if desired.
- Under Certificate, enter the IdP Certificate.
- From Classlink click Download IDP Certification. Copy and paste into Work Orders.
- From Classlink click Download IDP Certification. Copy and paste into Work Orders.
9. Click Generate Metadata XML file, and then copy the information.
10. Click Save.
11. Once you have the Metadata information. Go back to Classlink and Edit the MasterLibrary Software.
12. Paste the Metadata you copied into the Metadata Field.
Note: Make sure you remove the text "Change Me"
13. Attribute Mapping - Done automatically.
14. Metadate Overides - No Action Needed.
15. Update Button to save your changes.
Adding the App to your Launchpad.
1. Go to Classlink
2. Locate the App
3. Click "Copy IDP Initiate Login URL"
4. Go to Launchpad, and click "Add App"
5. Enter the Name
6. Paste the "Copy IDP Initiate Login URL" as the "Web Address"
7. Check Off "Request Single Sign-On for this Application"
8. Click Select Icon
If you have any issues adding the App to your Launchpad, contact ClassLink, and they can add it on your behalf.
Note: This Integration is just-in-time provisioning meaning it will create the user accounts when they log in via SAML the first time
