To access the Asset Check-Out Report, you will need "Edit Asset" or "View Asset" asset permission(s).
To find this report, you will need to navigate to Reports > Asset Check-Out Report
Check-Out Row Records
- The row records of this report account for all asset check-out instances for asset records in a set date range. For example, if asset "Chromebook 100" was checked out 5 times between 9/1/2023 and 8/31/2024, you would see 5 row records, each row record accounting for each unique check-out.
Date Range Filters
- The Date range filter in the top left of this report references the Check-Out Date field in the report. You can use a fixed date range or the Period dropdown for a more dynamic moving date range filter. For Example, "This Month" in the period dropdown, will always refer to the current month we are in.
Search ()
- The search bar searches on all displayed fields in this report.
Clear Filter ()
- Selecting this button will revert the current state of the report back to its default state
Actions ()
- Selecting this option will allow you to export the report to Excel, export to PDF, Add a New Saved Report and Deleting a Saved Report
Columns ()
- Use the column button to select which columns you would like to display on the grid
Past Due Column Logic
- If the asset is currently checked out, meaning it has NOT been checked in yet and the due date provided at the time of check-out is in the past, then "True" will display in the column, otherwise it will be "False".
Helpful Tip
- If you are looking to create a view of all currently checked-out assets, filter the check-in date column to "Null" and you'll only see currently checked-out assets (see below screenshot). Don't forget to make that a saved report view!
