Integrating with ML Drawings

ML Work Orders (MLW) allows you to integrate with our Drawing software, ML Drawings (MLD). The integration will allow you to view assets inside ML Work Orders and then view any drawings associated with that asset. In addition to this, if there are any work orders associated with an asset that is part of a drawing, you can locate the drawing by viewing the work order.

All of the back-end settings will play a role in the integration. Any changes made to the following settings inside ML Work Orders will also be reflected inside of ML Drawings.

Note: A warning will display when any of the settings above are being modified, letting you know the adjustment will also happen inside ML Drawings.

Viewing a Drawing on the Asset Details page

1. Select Assets > View All Assets from the left-side navigation menu

2. Click on the name of the asset to view all of the details

3. Select the Drawing tab at the top of the details page

4. Select the Drawing name

Note: In order to view the drawing, you will need the View Drawings permission, which can be applied under your roles. Please click HERE to learn more. 

The drawing will then be displayed in ML Drawings while automatically filtering for the asset being viewed inside ML Work Orders.

5. Select the Asset to view more details inside ML Drawings

Viewing a Drawing on the Work Order Details page

1. Select Work Orders > View All Work Orders from the left-side navigation menu

2. Click on the work order id that has an asset listed that is associated with a drawing

3. Select the Drawing tab at the top of the details page 

4. Select the Drawing name

The drawing will then be displayed in ML Drawings while automatically filtering for the asset that is associated with a work order being viewed inside of MLW.

5. Select the Asset to view more details inside ML Drawings
