The ML Work Orders™ Work Orders menu option displays a drop down menu of three separate pages (depending on the users permissions).
These pages are:
- My Work Orders
- My Assignments
- Manage Work Orders
NOTE: Users without the following permissions will only see the Work Orders header (which is the same as the My Work Orders option for users who see the drop down.)
- Admin permissions: Manage Site Settings
- Individual Role Permissions: Can Be Assigned WOs and View All WOs
The Work Orders and My Work Orders page, will show Work Orders you have created.
Users with the Can Be Assigned WOs permission will see the "My Assignments" option as well. This will show you all work orders assigned to you.
Users with the View All WOs permission will see the "Manage Work Orders" option as well. This will show you all work orders that you are able to view.
In order to view the permissions you have assigned to each Role:
1. Select Admin > District Setup > Manage Roles.
The Manage Roles screen will be displayed.
2. Select the edit icon () next to the Role you would like to view.
From here you can see the permissions assign to the Role.
Setting up Your Homepage
ML Work Orders™ allows you to customize which of these views you would like to be your home page.
This can be done by an Admin user through the Manage Users section or by editing your specific Profile page (as shown below.)
Homepage Options include:
1. Manage Work Orders
This is the page where users can view all of the work orders that they have viewing rights on.
This option is ideal for Admin users needing to see all work orders within the system.
2. My Assignments
This is the page where users can view all of the work orders assigned to them.
3. My Work Orders
This is the page where users can view all of the work orders that they have submitted.
4. Request Work Order
This is the work order request page.
The ML Work Orders Logo on the top left of the screen can be selected to bring the user directly to their homepage
