ML Work Orders™ Users with Administrative Permissions have the ability to Manage District Settings. 


Manage District Settings

 

1.  Select Admin >District Setup > Manage District Settings.


The Manage District Settings page will be displayed. 


Set up the Following Settings as Needed:



District Additionally Notify Permission:


1. Determine if you are going to to allow all users, admin users or no users to submit work orders on behalf of others.



Require Labor Hours Before Completing WO:

1. If it should be a requirement that labor hours are entered on each work order before the assigned to user is able to complete the job, then choose "Yes" from the drop down menu.



Sales Tax:

1. Users can enter a default sales tax rate for all purchase transactions (can be changed when entering the purchase transaction). Leave this field blank and the sales tax rate to automatically populate when entering labor transactions.


 

Show Asset on Request Form:


1. If you would like all users to see the Asset filter on the Work Order Request form, select "Show to All Users (Override Permissions)".


2. If you only want users with permission to see the Asset Filter the Work Order Request form select "Only Show to Users with Permission".



Show Priority on Request Form:


1. If you would like all users to see the Priority filter on the Work Order Request form, select "All Users".


2. If you only want Admin Users to see Priority filter the Work Order Request form select "Admin Only".



Show Purpose on Request Form:


1. To only show Purpose filter on the Work Order Request form to users with permission, select "Only Show to Users with Permission".


2. To Require Purpose filter on the Work Order Request form to be completed by all users, select "Required for All Users (Override Permissions)".


3. To show Purpose Filter on the Work Order Request form to all users (without requiring), select "Show to All Users (Override Permissions)".



Show Requested Completion Date:

1. Allow all users to enter a "Requested Completion Date" when submitting a work order choose "All Users" from the drop down menu and select Save.


2. If only Admin Users to have this ability then select "Admin Only" from the drop down menu and select Save.



Show Time Room/Area is Available:


1. Allow users to enter a time when the room or area is available when submitting a work order, but not require this to be filled out, choose "Not Required" from the drop down menu and select Save.


2. If it should be a requirement for users to enter a time when the room or area is available when submitting a work order, choose "Required" from the drop down menu and select Save.

3. Selecting "No" from the drop down menu will hide this field from the form. Select Save.



Show WO Description on Manage Work Orders Page:


1. If you would like to show the Work Order Description on the Manage Work Orders Page then select "Yes" from the drop down menu and select Save.
 


Show WO Description on My Work Orders Page:


1. A Work Order Description will show on the My Work Orders Page if  "Yes" is selected from the drop down menu. Select Save.
 


Show WO Description on WO Report Page:


1. A Work Order Description will show on the Work Orders Report Page if  "Yes" is selected from the drop down menu. Select Save.



Use Generic Spaces:


1. Choose "Yes" from the drop down menu and select Save. Generic Spaces are now active. 

2. To turn off generic spaces, follow steps 1-2 and select "No" from the drop down.
